Look at the pretty new yarn I just got. I’ve been in the mood to try something totally new in the knitting arena for a long while so I’m taking the plunge and finally giving lace knitting a go. GULP. Be very afraid. I’m sure I’ll be tangled up in knots the next time you see me. Well, more tangled. Double GULP.
Best,

orange is my favorite!
you can do it!
I spent waaay too long last night looking at delicious yarn online. Madeline Tosh, Malabrigo, … so many wonderful colours. I am more tempted by yarn than by chocolate. And that’s saying something!
Of course, I’m well on the way to having all my Christmas presents done, so that’s a good thing, right?
Go for it! You have nothing to lose, and a pretty lace scarf to gain. Have fun with it!
I’ll bet you think of what to write (previous post)
while knitting and taking on this new project.

I just want to reach out and touch that yarn!
Love the color – can’t wait to see.
Yummy color! Just stay the course, Kwana. Look forward to the finished project. xoxo
Funny that creating lace is just a series of slips of the yarn.
Think of your writing like that too, a series of slips of paper with a yarn of words connected.
