It’s the 50th anniversary of Alvin Ailey’s Revelations and once again tonight the DD and I will be at city center watching a performance together. She’s so excited and so am I. Also once again before the show she’ll be taking a dance class at Ailey and learning Revelations which is a huge treat for her. It should be a fab night and a great start to the holiday season. You know when I danced, we had the Alvin Ailey come to our dance school and he taught me all about extension and lifting my legs from my core….he lifted my leg to show me….and I will never forget his grace, his poise and his passion for dance.

I danced all through school and as a treat we went on a field trip to a local college and saw their dance troop. Really amazing!
Oh, so good. I had the chance to see the troop perform in Albuquerque of all places and it was so inspiring. I hope it was a wonderful show!
