Tomorrow is my birthday. Hold the applause please. Like for realz, I’m getting in the age range where I’d kinda like to not blow horns or wave banners, but still me being well… me, I can’t just let the day go by. So I thought I’d have a little celebration by sharing the birthday love and having a giveaway instead.
When I was at Book Expo I was able to get a signed ARC from one of my favorite bloggers and now come to find out she’s a fellow June birthday girl and Gemini, The Smart Bitch herself Sarah Wendell!
Sarah signed an advanced reader copy of her new book:
EVERYTHING I KNOW ABOUT LOVE I LEARNED FROM ROMANCE NOVELS.
The book is not due out until October 2011 but you can win a signed copy here now!
Here is a bit about the book straight from Sarah’s site:
“Combining the wisdom and wit of romance readers and authors, this book puts to rest the idea that romances create unrealistic expectations of love, relationships, and sex. Romances can teach us about finding the ideal partner, weathering conflict, discovering our preferences, and, most of all, about loving and appreciating ourselves.”
Just leave a comment and I will announce the winner Monday!
You can visit Sarah at her site and find out about pre-ordering here.
Best,
Kwana

Kwana, who cares about age? Your birthday is the one day of the year when it should all be about you. In fact, celebrate the whole month of June if you can.
I agree with Elizabeth. You know I’m still celebrating mine. Besides, you really get to start having fun now with the twins off to college (after the tears that is).
I have to catch up, haven’t read the other book with the real long title.
Everything I know about birthdays is that another one is like a diamond, so shine on Kwana!
The book might give me some fuel to my fire…does it have a chapter on everything I know about surviving parenting and a renovation and twins graduating? It all takes love and more! (out of me
I turned 32 this year and LOVE celebrating my birthday! I like to think of it as a celebration of all the wonderful things that I expereinced, shared and will remember always that happened in that past year.
Especially after I lost both my parents, I felt that celebrating every year and being thankful for all of the time I was getting with those I loved really meant so much to me.
I cannot wait to read this book! Sarah is a goddess of romance and this book is sure to be awesome – thanks for sharing a copy with us!
Thank you for the giveaway!
I’m looking forward to this book so much.
Thanks so much for the giveaway! I loved her last book so much, and I know this one will be just as amazing.
Happy birthday, and thanks for the giveaway. As an adult, I find my birthday a good excuse to invite friends over for a day of fun and frolic.
This also guilts them into bringing gifts…
I hope you have a wonderful Birthday tomorrow!
I’d like to be entered for the giveaway! This book sounds awesome. Also, happy birthday.
I like to win the book. Very interesting topic since I’m still single.

So excited for Sarah’s book! Happy belated birthday!
Happy birthday, Kwana! Mine ends in a zero this year, so I can sympathize. I plan to throw an epic hissy fit in August.
Happy Birthday!
I am super excited for this book. I really enjoyed the last one. What a fabulous giveaway!
Oh man, how can I possibly resist this? I’ve read the blog and their last book, so I can’t wait to get my hands on this one. Also, happy (most likely late) birthday!
I am totally looking forward to this book. Today (6/12) is my b-day and the new age ends in 0!
