Books are the sanity to my life, so yes I feel like they take me away to a different place every time I read one. I don’t really have a favorite escape destination but I imagine it would be secluded and quiet.

I’m a bit partial to the cabin retreats in the mountains. I suppose I feel like I can get more in tune with the hero and heroine that way since it’s typically quiet and secluded. That’s just one of my favorite escapes in my novels. As for real life, I’m perfectly okay with a nice quiet cottage in the Highlands. Oh yeah, fully stocked with a Highlander. I’d love to go back in time to Scotland and Ireland, and then follow the timeline to the present to see how it evolves! As for real life escape, I love the beach and would love to visit some of the popular tropical sites!

I don’t have any particular destination. I just love the few brief moments of not having to think about dinner, dishes, laundry, work, etc….But I do love to escape with cowboys!

If we’re talking about real life escapes, I LOVE New Orleans. It’s my favorite vacation place. New Orleans is just beautiful and the people are even more so. In a novel, I love going everywhere! Some of my first romance novels were Julie Garwood’s Highlander novels. Love those Scottish men.
